SPEED
SPEED will feature 8 fast-paced obstacles each requiring agility and body coordination to complete. Ninjas earn 1 point per completed obstacle and can attempt ALL obstacles within the given time limit regardless of how many failed attempts they accumulate. Ninjas will get 3 attempts to secure up to 24 points within their course runs.
Age divisions listed below include Beginner and Elite pathways for athletes of all ages:
– Beginner Kids (Born 2017-2019)
– Beginner Youth (Born 2014-2016)
– Beginner Adults (Born 2013 or earlier)
Beginner categories offer courses more designed for ninjas still learning the ropes and beginning their competitive journey. Time limits are generally extended and obstacles are more simplified. Ninjas in the Beginner categories are ineligible to receive prize money at the FNS Finals in November. We recommend anyone still in their first or second year of competing to select the Beginner option. (Feel free to contact us via email at fusion.ninja.series@gmail.com if you have any queries about selecting your category)
– Elite Youth (Born 2014-2019)
– Elite Adults (Born 2013 or earlier)
NOTE: Any athlete who has previously competed in an Elite category in previous seasons of the FNS are not permitted to drop back to Beginners under any circumstances!
Elite categories offer more complex courses designed for ninjas with a few years experience in the competition realm. Courses are more challenging and time limits are generally shortened. Only ninjas in the Elite categories are eligible to receive prize money at the FNS Finals in November.
